Lisboa

Portugal, a land of peace, or at least that’s what the breeze whispered to me as it brushed my cheek. I had never been without a coast for so long before and when I escaped the hot pavements of Paris, I felt at home. The salt in the air was familiar, it spoke in a language that I finally knew. The people were as warm as the sun's reflection and returned smiles without hesitation. This was a place for me.
